Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No feature restrictions, no watered-down version.

Do I need a credit card to start?

Accepted Answer

No. Sign up at app.praxiss.io with your work email and you're in. We ask for payment details when your trial ends and you choose a plan.

Can I import data from my current system?

Accepted Answer

You can import your employee directory via CSV or sync directly through your HRIS (coming soon). Historical performance data from other tools is not currently importable. Praxiss starts fresh. If that's a blocker, get in touch and we'll work through it with you.

What's the minimum team size?

No minimum. Praxiss works for teams of 5 and teams of 500. Starter is designed for smaller teams; Growth is better suited once you need multi-department reporting, advanced permissions, and manager-level analytics.

What is the four-layer feedback architecture?

Praxiss structures feedback across four layers: pulse checks (ongoing sentiment), 360 reviews (peer and upward feedback), manager reviews (structured 1:1 and performance cycles), and self-assessments. Each layer feeds into a unified employee profile, so you're not looking at siloed snapshots. You're seeing the full picture. The AI then synthesises across all four layers to surface what actually matters.

How does the AI synthesis work?

After each review cycle or pulse check, Praxiss runs AI synthesis across all responses for a given employee or team. It identifies themes, flags inconsistencies, and surfaces action items, presented in plain language, not a wall of charts. You bring your own AI key (see BYOK), so the synthesis runs in your own environment under your own terms.

What is BYOK AI?

BYOK stands for Bring Your Own Key. Instead of routing your employee feedback through Praxiss-managed AI infrastructure, you connect your own API key from OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude. Your data goes directly from Praxiss to your chosen AI provider. We never see it, store it, or train on it.

Can I customise pulse check questions?

Yes. You can write your own questions, set frequency (weekly, fortnightly, monthly), and choose which teams receive which questions. Praxiss also ships a default library of validated questions grouped by theme, including engagement, wellbeing, manager effectiveness, and more, so you're not starting from scratch.

How do 360 reviews work in Praxiss?

You configure the review cycle: who reviews whom, which question templates to use, and the timeline. Praxiss handles the distribution, reminders, and anonymous collection. Once responses come in, the AI synthesises the feedback into a structured summary for the manager and the employee. Reviewers can be peers, direct reports, or anyone in the organisation you nominate.

Can employees see their own data?

Yes. Employees have their own dashboard showing their pulse check history, their 360 feedback summaries (anonymised where applicable), and any development actions set by their manager. Managers see their team's data. Admins see the full organisation. Access levels are configurable.

What's the difference between Starter and Growth?

Accepted Answer

Starter is $5 AUD/user/month. It includes pulse checks, peer shout-outs, custom branding, full analytics dashboard, performance goals, custom terminology, and email support. It's the right fit for most small and mid-sized teams. Growth is $12 AUD/user/month. It adds everything in Starter plus AI-native insights, strengths assessment, skills matrix, 360-degree feedback, consolidated reviews, action plans, custom roles, and priority support.

Is there an annual contract?

No annual contract required. Praxiss is month-to-month. If you want to pay annually and prefer a different arrangement, contact us and we can discuss it.

Question 14

What happens when my trial ends?

Accepted Answer

You'll receive an email a few days before your trial expires. At the end of 14 days, your account moves to a read-only state. Your data stays intact, but you can't run new cycles or send new pulse checks until you choose a plan. Nothing gets deleted.

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can change plans at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Where is my data hosted?

Accepted Answer

Praxiss is hosted on AWS infrastructure in the ap-southeast-2 region (Sydney, Australia). Your data does not leave Australia unless you choose a non-AU AI provider through BYOK.

Do you have SOC2?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. SOC2 Type II audit is on our roadmap for later in 2026. In the meantime, you can review our current security practices, data handling policies, and infrastructure controls. If your procurement team needs specifics, reach out and we'll walk you through it directly.

Question 18

Who can access my organisation's data?

Accepted Answer

Only users within your organisation, scoped to their access level (employee, manager, or admin). Praxiss staff can access your data only for support purposes and only with your explicit consent. We do not share data with third parties.

Is the AI processing my employee data?

Accepted Answer

Only if you enable AI synthesis. When you do, data is sent to the AI provider you've connected via BYOK. Praxiss does not operate its own AI infrastructure that processes your employee data. If you don't set up a BYOK key, AI synthesis features are simply unavailable. The rest of the product works fine.

How does BYOK AI protect my data?

When you bring your own key, your feedback data travels directly from Praxiss to your AI provider (OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic) using your credentials. Praxiss never stores your API key in plaintext, and the AI responses are processed and discarded, not retained in your provider's training pipeline (subject to each provider's data processing agreements).

All plans include email support. Growth plan customers get priority response times and access to live chat during business hours (AEDT). Enterprise customers get a dedicated account contact.

Yes. When you start a trial, you'll receive a short onboarding sequence to get your first cycle running. If you want hands-on help, connecting your identity provider, configuring your first review cycle, or walking through the product with your team, we're available.
